I recently discovered this pillow and fell in love with it. I have major neck and back problems-the kind that send me to the chiropractor at least once every 2 weeks just to put everything back into alignment. I figured out a long time ago that everything would go out on me while I was sleeping! How that kept happening, I was never sure. But then I was introduced to this pillow that gives amazing support at the neck and cradles your head-keeping that natural curve in the spine that’s meant to be there when we’re in a standing position. I have to say-I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and so far my spine has stayed in place. I couldn’t be happier! It has 2 levels of support for the neck, depending on what you need. It’s also GREEN! Yes-here is some information on what this pillow is made out of:

PILLO1 is made with Natural Talalay Latex Rubber, which starts as sap from the Havea brasiliensis tree. These rubber trees have a 25 year productive life and a strong positive effect on the environment as they quickly absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and help reduce greenhouse emissions.

Our Talalay process features natural, biodegradable ingredients that come from renewable resources and water-based raw materials: natural latex, air, and water. Our process does not use solvents and does not damage the ozone layer. Our clean and green approach carries through to our end products: Talalay latex contains no toxic chemicals while standard Poly Foam and Memory Foam (visco) can contain as many as seven toxic chemicals.

So it’s refreshing to know there’s finally something we can sleep on that’s created with our true health and comfort in mind. This is definitely a great product to put at the top of your Christmas or Hanukkah list this year!!

Oh-one more thing….I always try to sleep on my back because, let’s face it ladies, it’s so much better for wrinkles not to squish up our face and chest for 8+ hours. I love that this pillow allows me to rest my head just slightly to the side and not fall so far over. That support is helping keep my neck straight which means I’m waking up with less signs of sleep that the day has to erase.

Ok-this is IT for me!! I make one of these for breakfast every morning and just hate running out. It’s filling enough that I can take vitamins with it and it alone without feeling sick. But honestly, the reason for drinking it is because it’s packed with all of the vitamins you need for the day. I just put 10oz of cold water in the shaker they provide, one piece of ice and 1 chocolate packet and I’m set. It’s the yummiest chocolate shake I’ve ever had probably-short of adding ice cream and bad stuff for you. I can’t recommend it enough!!

Nikken PiMag Waterfall

So, I have an older version of this company’s water filtration system, and I absolutely love it! I looked and the one I have is discontinued, so it looks like this is your only option now. What I love is that you are just filtering your tap water and I fill up my own reusable, recyclable water bottles everyday. I have noticed I drink so much more water this way because I’m not feeling guilty about adding to our landfills. Plus, my chiropractor in NY had one in his office and explained to me how much healthier this water was than anything else he had found. Remember those chemistry tests in school with a potato growing out of water and sprouting roots? Well he had photos of potatoes being grown in this filtered water, NYC water, other brands of bottled water and so on. The potato growing from this filtered water was by far the healthiest of them all! It takes out the impurities we don’t want, is alkaline and ionized. Earth Balance Organic Coconut Spread

OK-I just can’t say enough about how much I love this product! I have rediscovered my love for toast and butter…but now it’s super healthy and so much yummier!! I am buying gluten-free bread and putting it in my toaster over and then putting this spread on BOTH sides of the bread slices. It’s so good and the coconut flavor just add a ton of great flavor. Last night I even tried making garlic bread with it and holy crap it was amazing!! I guess, all I can say is … it’s the best thing since sliced bread!!

Logitech Squeezebox

So, I was at my friend’s house yesterday and he had one of these. I loved it!! He controlled it from his cell and played his Pandora on it. He also had it hooked up to his bigger speaker system. He can control it from anywhere-even my house! I have such an old fashion stereo system set-up here and have always hated that I couldn’t play Pandora through it. So now, I think I have solved my problems. They even have a cool, new touchscreen version that’s smaller and sleeker. I can’t wait to get one and try out this fun technology. I am a bit behind the times I think-so maybe it’s not that new. But whatever-I love it!!!

This is a complete necessity pillow for me. I use the small one nightly on top of my regular pillow. I love having it placed a little under my neck for support, and I’ve spent a long time perfecting sleeping on my back. But sometimes I just have to roll onto my side and give my back a break. When I do roll over, this pillow definitely works to help prevent face wrinkles. It allows you to sleep on your side and not squish up your face for 8 hours while you sleep. It won’t prevent the natural aging process, but it will help you to not voluntarily speed it up. I even travel with it in my suitcase! It’s a MUST have for me always!!
